Julie Blacklow, one of Seattle’s first female broadcast journalists, spent four decades at KING-TV covering stories with boldness and heart. Her acclaimed memoir, Fearless: Diary of a Badass Reporter, chronicles breaking barriers in a male-dominated field, surviving personal trials, and redefining resilience. After retiring from television, she turned to horses, nature, and painting. Her art show Fearless reflects the same spirit that fueled her reporting: honesty, courage, and reinvention. Through vibrant imagery, Julie continues her lifelong mission of storytelling, reminding us that to be fearless is not to live without fear, but to act bravely in spite of it.
