Frequenty Asked Questions –
All Your ArtWalk Questions, Answered
Does it cost anything to attend?
Nope! ArtWalk is completely free and open to all. It's all about enjoying a fun evening out in the community while supporting local artists. Every venue is free to visit—just come explore!
What are the hours?
ArtWalk officially runs from 5–8PM on the First Friday of each month. Some venues may open a little early or stay open a bit later, but 5–8PM is your sweet spot.
What if it’s raining?
We’re Pacific Northwesterners—we’ve got umbrellas and spirit! ArtWalk happens rain or shine, all year round. (And sometimes rainy nights make the art even more magical.).
Are all business open every month?
Many of our venues participate year-round, but some are seasonal and only open from May through October. Want to know who’s in this month? Check the Artist Lineup for the full scoop.
What if I miss the First Friday - can I still see the art?
Yes! Most exhibitions stay up for a month or more. Swing by during regular business hours to catch the show at each venue. Just check the venue’s hours before you go.
Where can I park?
Parking can be a bit of an adventure, but you've got options. There's street parking near all venues, and a garage at Island Square (home to Coldwell Banker Bain and John L. Scott). The first 2 hours are free—but make sure to register using the posted QR code or app. If you skip that step, you could end up with a ticket.
Is there food?
Yes—snacks and sips abound! Many venues offer wine, sparkling water, cheese, and other tasty treats to enjoy while you browse. Each location does their own thing, so it’s a bit of a surprise party at every stop.
Just a friendly reminder: if you're served wine or any alcoholic drink, please enjoy it inside that venue. No wandering with wine glasses—those drinks need to stay put!
Is the art for sale?
You bet! Most of the art on display is available for purchase. Each venue handles sales a little differently, but buying a piece is a great way to support local talent—and bring home something truly one-of-a-kind.
How do I participate as an artist?
We’d love to see your work! We're always looking for new artists to feature. Just send us a message , and we'll follow up with more info.
