I'm Daniel and I'm the artist behind FirstDmStudio. I was born in Recife, Brazil and have lived in the Seattle area since I was 8 years old. I studied business at Bellevue College and art has always been a passion of mine.

I discovered I had epilepsy as an adult and in order to escape the dark times I was going though I went back to memories of art classes I had taken earlier and began exploring with different color theories by making my own creations using acrylic and different kinds of paper. After getting my health problems under control I was able to focus on creating numbers of vibrant plants, landscapes, and animals from paper and acrylic. I love creating new paper designs and I'm really excited about sharing my work with others. I have always been inspired by my love of plants, nature, and design.
