I’m Ana Blanca Estébanez, a Spanish artist, teacher, and illustrator by profession. Seattle gave me the opportunity to grow as a creator; it was there that I began shaping this personal project of painting my own works and presenting them in exhibitions. Since then, I have participated in shows in Madrid, Barcelona, and Marbella, in art fairs in Versailles, as well as in exhibitions in Seattle and Vancouver, the city where I currently live. I also carried out an artistic tour in Lima, Peru, which allowed me to share my work with a diverse and international audience.

I draw inspiration from artists such as Picasso, the colorful expression of Naïve art, and the abstraction explored by Kandinsky, among others. I admire art in all its forms. I mainly work with acrylic on canvas and wood, and I love adding touches of oil pastel, which I consider part of my signature.

My style is vibrant and figurative-abstract: while there is always an underlying interpretation, I love that each viewer creates their own, because that is what art is about and all interpretations are equally real.

As a teacher, I firmly believe that art is one of the most authentic forms of expression. Through my work, I aim to share an optimistic, curious, and enthusiastic perspective, with the intention not only of decorating a space but also of offering a glimpse of joy in every piece.
