Here the abstract works in “Timeless Remnants” combine elements of each artist’s individual experience of life, colored with her unique life events, personalities and cultural heritage. Our ancient ethnographic artworks are from a variety of countries and ethnicities while our contemporary artists are all from the Northwest. The combination aims to elicit universal emotional responses through techniques of script, mark making, composition, palette, texture, layering and energy in the artworks.
