Lisa Sweo Eul is an artist whose works tell stories from personal experiences, memories, histories, journeys and narratives.

“Ticket Around the world” is a series that is a tribute to her parents who took Lisa and her two siblings on a one year world tour. Each layer of her history from that period weaves its way into her art.  In a complex infusion of materials, lines, loops, and signs…smudged and blurred intentionally to become the foundation for the histories that unfold onto the canvas. Often this is the result of having built up to 8 layers on each painting.
